Kevin Lee Belcastro

Motion Graphics Artist

Hi, I’M KEVIN BELCASTRO,

I am a sailor from San Francisco, now hard aground in the Sacramento area. I can best be described as an anachronistic anthropologist, observing and recording the motivations of the world I am visiting.

Artistic Influences:

I am creatively claustrophobic. The very existence of a box is a challenge to vanquish, not a mere barrier to vision. My charge is neither positive nor negative, so that I am free to choose polarity at will and to embrace whichever Muse might grace me, and to follow whatever miraculous revelations the Universe bestows.

I find my greatest fulfillment in working with the young and new artists collaborating and sharing to discover new worlds.

Current Activities:

I work as a Teaching Assistant for Yuba Environmental Studies Charter Academy, providing help with film and animation, and also serve as an embedded tutor in the animation courses at Sierra College and a generalist tutor for the Applied Art and Design program.
